Beyond The Brand

I started baking cakes and treats at a young age, trying my hand at all the sweet recipes in my mom’s and granny’s cookbooks. I used to watch my granny bake cakes for every occasion as I waited patiently to lick the spoon. That’s where I developed my strong passion for making delicious baked goods that both look and taste amazing. I’ve been holding on to that passion ever sense, infusing love into everything that I make.

I studied baking and pastry at Washburne Culinary & Hospitality Institute and turned my passion into a career. After working at many different bakeries from grocery stores, to big name bakeries you hear about on food network, I decided to work for myself and see how far my passion can take me. It’s been a long journey and the road isn’t easy, but I refuse to quit when the going gets tough. But First Dessert is a reflection of the passion and dedication that I express through meticulous baking processes and techniques combined with fresh ingredients and unique flavor profiles.
